The following is not just a list of rules and prohibited activities that comprise this site's Terms of Service/Agreement Policy. It is also a code of conduct that we hope will bring a sense of community and inspire an environment conducive to trade and the exchange of ideas. If we keep in mind we are all a part of this community then the rules will easily be observed.

By posting a message on any message board, trade forum or anywhere on the Applied Ideas (AI) site, or by sending information to any AI employee or representative, or any related participation on the AI site you agree to abide by the following policies and agree not to engage in any prohibited policy. Furthermore, you agree to help foster a positive community. If in our view any of these terms are violated, or solely in our view the community is harmed, we at all times have the right to forbid access to any AI site.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES:

A) Show respect at all times.

B) Help build the community by sharing knowledge.

C) No personal attacks allowed. Specifically any text, post or banner that blatantly attacks any individual, group or organization on or off the forum.

D) Trolling is not allowed at any time. This is defined as posts made, in our opinion, to anger or incite other participants of the boards.

E) No personal information is allowed in any form on the forums. This includes names, phone numbers and addresses.

F) At no time are pornographic, racist or discriminatory remarks allowed.

G) Offensive language is not allowed at any time.

H) Consider that folks of every background and age use these boards daily as you make posts. Be appropriate for ALL audiences.

I) Keep all posts on topic in appropriate forums. Trade messages in proper trade forums only.

J) Private messages are to be considered private and not posted publicly unless the sender agrees.

K) Do unto others as you would have them do unto you (we stole this one).

TERMS OF USE:

Following is a list of prohibited activities. Violation of any of these will result in banning from all of our forums and sites. Most importantly though is this rule:

1) Defamation: You agree not to post or transmit any information that is abusive towards another user or associate of AI.

2) Fraud: You agree not to post or transmit any fraudulent information on or to any AI site. This means any information that you know or have reason to know is false, and that you intend for others to rely on.

3) False Advertising: You agree not to post or transmit on or to any AI site any advertising or promotional materials that contain false, deceptive or misleading statements, claims or representations.

4) Competing Advertising: Advertising dealing with another site or thing in competition to AI or in competition with any content of AI sites or sub-sites is not allowed.

5) Copyright violations: You agree not to post, transmit or in anyway infringe on information and material that infringes AI copyright in all or in part of any information.

6) Obscenity: You agree not to post or transmit any obscene content, including but not limited to language, cursing, obscene links, pictures or references on or throughout AI.

7) Harassment, threats and abuse: You agree not to use AI in any way to harass, threaten or abuse any person, including but not limited to, an AI official or information provider, guide, host, moderator or administrator, by any means, including the use of vulgar, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable information. This is at our opinion and we reserve the right to judge it without any question.

8) False Pretenses: You agree not to use AI in any way to impersonate any person, including but not limited to AI officials or information providers. You agree not to communicate under a false name or a name you are not entitled to or authorized to use in all forms of online communication.

9) Chain Letter and Off Topic products and content: You agree not to post or transmit chain letters or letters and messages that offer a product or service based on the structure of a chain letter. You agree not to post any information, product or service that is patently inappropriate to the topics focused in a particular forum.

10) Spamming: You agree not to post or cross post, regardless of content, any of the same message more than one time individually.
